The first socks for this phase of Project Spectrum are complete.

Noro Socks

Stockinette Socks knit with Noro Kureyon Sock in colour 164 {More}

These socks were quick and easy, knit mostly during while reading stuff for uni. They fit nicely into the current phase of Project Spectrum. Not only is are the colours right, but the yarn is nice and rustic perfect for Earth.

Apart from that, I still seem to be stuck on fiery projects. I’ve been very focused on smaller knits lately but since my knitting seems to be fighting me every step of the way, I’ve taken a step back to start planning for my next sweater.

Planning

Three swatches for three sweaters (click for details). Which do I knit first?

I can understand your dilemma – all are fabulous. Me, I’d go for the red one. But I’m probably biased!

Those socks are BEAUTIFUL!

I like the red too, though. It’s sort of tweedy, and I love tweed.

Since I am so obsessed with red these days, I say the CPH :-) But all three are gorgeous!

All three swatches are gorgeous! I think the orangy one could be earth in a clay desert or autumn leaves sort of way.

The stone color in the toe is beautiful. I love the shades of grey worked up with the browns.

I’d knit the red first :)

Those socks look great! How does the Noro sock yarn feel? Scratchy? Or just your basic sock yarn?

Looking forward to see the progress on your sweaters.. I really like the Sundara yarn!! I think it’ll look great in the Printed Silk cardi. :)

The blue is such a lovely colour, I’d take a break from red and do that one!
