I always promised myself I wouldn’t turn into one of those people who knit one sock and forget about the second, but recently I’ve found myself with a pile of single socks. In fact, I have five socks awaiting mates!
From top to bottom: Pomatomus in Sundara sock yarn (knit by Ceylan), Embossed Leaves in Mama Blue sea merino, Fratello in Wollmeise sockenwolle, Hedera in MadelineTosh sock, stockinette stripes in Noro Kureyon sock
As a challenge to myself, I thought I’d enter them into the WIP Wrestling event of the Ravelympics. So, if you’re on Ravelry and haven’t heard of the Ravelympics, you must have been living under a rock, but basically, the point is to set yourself a challenge to knit during the Olympics. You cast on as the opening ceremony starts—less than two hours from now.
Of course, since I’m crazy, I’ve also decided to knit myself a sweater in the next 17 days. But more about that later! For now, wish me luck.
