New project

I decided to cast on for Juliet today. The whole bulky thing doesn’t really do it for me, so I’m knitting the 2X size with my Elann Den-m-knit, aiming for the approximate size of the S. I probably should have calculated the size completely myself instead of just plugging my gauge into the bust measurements and choosing the one closest, but I figured it’s a top-down raglan, so there’s a bit of leeway in sizing. Honestly, i was just feeling much too lazy when I cast on and wanted a break from the concentration of final assignments.

So far, I’m loving both the garter stitch and the yarn – even if it makes my hands blue.
